Longe de tudo, mas perto de todos, em pleno Vale do Sorraia, a apenas 5 km da vila de Coruche, a Quinta Grande impõe-se como refúgio de tranquilidade e sossego. Situada a apenas 70 km de Lisboa, a Quinta inspira quem chega e não mais quer sair graças à natureza abundante e planícies férteis de cultivo de arroz, milho, vinhas e hortícolas. Também a floresta de pinheiros, mansos e bravos, e o montado de sobreiros são a prova viva da riqueza ribatejana.

A Quinta Grande é uma sociedade familiar centenária que remonta aos inícios do século XX pela mão do primeiro Visconde de Coruche. Aqui plantou vinhas, recorrendo a técnicas modernas para a altura, para concretizar o seu sonho de se tornar vinicultor. Apesar de já não ter testemunhado esse feito em vida, a Quinta Grande provou ser o local de eleição para a natureza ribatejana se espraiar em toda a sua essência.

Exploring the Ribatejo heathland

Far from the hustle and bustle of urban life but close enough to get here in no time, Quinta Grande stands in the middle of Vale do Sorraia, only 5 km away from the village of Coruche and 70 km from Lisbon, emerging as a refuge of tranquillity and calmness. Quinta Grande is a sight for sore eyes thanks to the plentiful nature and fertile plains of rice, maize, vineyards, and vegetables, as well as the forest of pine trees, both stone and cluster pines, and cork oak, a bountiful feature of the Ribatejo.

Quinta Grande is a hundred-year-old family company that goes back to the early 20th century and was founded by the first Viscount of Coruche. He planted vineyards using modern techniques that were advanced for those times to fulfil his dream of becoming a wine grower. Although he was not around anymore to witness that happening, Quinta Grande proved to be the ideal location for the Ribatejo flora to prosper in all its glory.
